Shot Blasting

Originally part of our hydraulic press rebuilding services, TMP now also offers shot blasting on a contract manufacturing or job shop basis. Shot blasting uses a large air gun to shoot an abrasive material such as sand, small steel balls, or granules of silicon carbide to remove paint, rust, and built up debris on a surface prior to finishing, powder coating, or painting. This environmentally friendly, dust free process is ideal for surface preparation, and leaves your machine or part clean, dry and ready for immediate finishing. Overhead cranes with capacities to 100 tons, situated in a climate controlled facility, makes TMP an ideal shot blasting vendor for all your large, hard-to-handle parts.
