Cleveland, Ohio (March 15, 2011) — TMP, a leading hydraulic press and intensive mixer manufacturer, announced today that it will now operate as TMP Inc., A Division of French. The name change is a result of a new sales structure with The French Oil Mill Machinery Company, aimed at their continued effort to harmonize the TMP and French brands since TMP’s acquisition by French in 2009. Dave Sledz, TMP Vice President, is responsible for sales and product management of rubber mixers and hydraulic presses for the composite, laboratory and rubber markets. A graduate of The University of Akron, Sledz gained experience as a Sales Manager at Erie Engine & Manufacturing Company before coming to TMP in 1985. He was promoted to Vice President four years later, in 1989. Sledz is based out of TMP’s Cleveland office. TMP Inc., A Division of French engineers and manufactures technologically advanced hydraulic presses for compression, transfer, vacuum molding and lamination. TMP also offers intensive mixers, related components, controls and auxiliary equipment. TMP services machines and offers machine rebuilding, which invariably includes upgrades, for higher automation, improved product quality and process control. TMP was acquired by French in 2009 and is internationally recognized for building high-performance machinery. To date, TMP has supplied machinery to over 1,000 customers in over 16 countries.

The reorganization, effective March 15, simplifies how the companies take their products to market, moving from brand-specific sales teams to consolidated sales responsibilities within clearly segmented markets. These changes allow TMP & French to better support their customers by leveraging their product designs within their respective markets and to strengthen their position as the technology and quality leader.
In the new structure, TMP will concentrate their sales efforts on their line of rubber mixers and hydraulic presses for the composite and laboratory markets. French adds TMP lamination presses to their product assortment and will continue to market French hydraulic presses to the compaction and friction markets. Both TMP & French will sell to the rubber markets with TMP serving new and existing customers while French focuses on their existing customers.
Dave Sledz, Vice President of TMP said, “We are proud to be a part of French’s longstanding, strong and vibrant business. The change in our name more accurately reflects our ownership and our new sales structure with French, which puts our sales and engineering teams in a better position to grow our businesses and fulfill our customers needs.”
