Our History

Since 1978 Technical Machine Products has been in the business of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing of technologically-advanced machines.

In earlier years TMP partnered with Soberay Machine, Cleveland, Ohio to supply both new and used machinery to the rubber industry. As TMP grew, it began concentrating in two principal new-product segments: industrial presses and intensive mixers. The company acquired extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, and technical resources needed to give the company the advantages to make TMP a global supplier of these products.

Now as an independent company, TMP is internationally recognized for building high-performance machinery for the elastomer, composite, printed circuit-board, plastic-card lamination, and related industries. To date TMP has supplied machinery to over 1,000 customers in over 15 countries.

With these resources in place, the company also has enjoyed the flexibility and opportunity for other related businesses such as general machining and equipment rebuilding. A solid portion of our business to this day comes from machine rebuilding, which invariably includes upgrades, for higher automation, improved product quality, and process control.

The company for many years has rebuilt different brands and sizes of tilt and banbury-type mixers for tire and industrial rubber processors. Rebuilds often include new TMP-designed controls. We have also supplied rebuilt and used, upstream and downstream equipment in conjunction with new TMP machinery. Today TMP is cooperating with partners in Asia to better reach global markets and optimize product cost. The MAXIM, Maxi-Jet and MAXI-MIX compression presses, injection presses, and mixers respectively are the best priced machines on the market.

In addition to our historical TECHNI-MOLD and Techni-Mix custom line of presses and mixers, innovation at TMP continues with the recent introduction of the patented Vacu-Jet Rubber Injection Press for vacuum and non-vacuum applications. Our search for better methods, products, and solutions to meet our customers needs will always be foremost in our future.
